My Most Anticipated Releases of 2016!

Happy New Year! In honor of the new year I've decided to share my most anticipated releases of 2016!

Heartless by Marissa Meyer: Literally everyone but me has read the Lunar Chronicles, so Heartless will be my first Marissa Meyer book and I'm really excited.
The Last Star by Rick Yancey: I can't wait to see how Rick Yancey ends this trilogy.
When We Collided by Emery Lord: It just sounds like something I'll really like.
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken: I'm probably the only person who isn't a fan of time travel but since its Alexandra Bracken and its already received so much good feedback I'm so excited for it.
The Rose & The Dagger by Renée Ahdieh: The Wrath and the Dawn was so exquisitely written I can't wait for more from Renée!
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas: I loved ACOTAR so I can't wait for the continuation of Feyre's story in ACOMAF. I am beyond obsessed with Rhysand and am dying for him and Feyre to get together.
This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab: I've been really excited for this book since it's only blurb on Goodreads was something like "a city where crime breeds literal monsters" and now its got this gorgeous cover and amazing description. *squeals in excitement*
Suffer Love by Ashley Herring Blake: I'm lucky enough to already have an arc of this one but I don't think I'll be able to get to it until next year anyways. I've been obsessed with this book since I first saw the cover and I love the title and the blurb and I can't wait to start it.

Throne of Glass 5 by Sarah J. Maas: Do I even need to explain this one? Throne of Glass is easily my favorite series right now and I even have an entire tumblr dedicated to Rowaelin (even though once upon a time I was a hardcore chaolena shipper).
Lady Midnight by Cassie Clare: Finally another Shadowhunters book! I really really enjoyed The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments and as long as Lady Midnight is up to caliber with the rest of Cassies books I don't see why I won't love it.
Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard: Red Queen basically killed me with that plot twist (which I totally thought I predicted and then I was so totally wrong) so I NEED Glass Sword.
The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater: I have an exorbitant amount of love for pynch and if they don't finally happen in TRK I'm going to cry myself to sleep every night for a week (kidding - but only sort of). Also, when Kirkus calls it a "thundering close" I get very worried yet very excited
A Torch Against The Night by Sabaa Tahir: Even though I just read Embers recently I had no idea there was a sequel so I was very delightfully surprised when I found out there was!

Let me hear from you!
What are your most anticipated releases of 2016?
Are there any specific debut authors I should keep my eye out for?

  1. Don't worry, I haven't read Marissa Meyer's books either :D Heartless sounds awesome though, so I'll read it! I have an arc for Suffer Love too! The cover is gorgeous indeed, and I can't wait to read it. Anyway, hope you have a great year! <33

  3. eagerly waiting for when we collided as well. i love contemporary and emery lord and it sounds SO GOOD. also THE ROSE AND THE DAGGER and THRONE OF GLASS #5 EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED QUEEN OF SHADOWS YET OOPS. and obviously the raven king because god knows how long i've been waiting for that book (hint: ages). I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO BLUE AND THE GANG. another book i'm waiting for this year (was going to say next year but IT'S 2016 ALREADY) is the winner's kiss by marie rutkoski because the winner's curse is one of my favourite series and i also very badly need to know what happens with arin and kestrel.

    1. WHEN THE RELEASE DATE OF THE RAVEN KING KEPT GETTING PUSHED BACK I WAS SO EMOTIONAL. It truly has been ages. Also I haven't read the winters curse series for some reason, its not like they werent appealing to me I just guess I never picked them up. 2016 might be the time I finally pick them (or the ones that are out this far) up!
