March Wrap Up

Goodbye March, HELLOOO April!

Boyfriends with Girlfriends by Alex Sanchez

Uh...so this book was bad in so many ways. I won't be reviewing it on my blog but you can see a few of my many issues with it in my Goodreads review.

Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

Simon vs was absolutely perfect and is completely one of my favorites right now! The characters were so cute and believable and the romance was perfect. You can see my full review here

The Art of Not Breathing by Sarah Alexander

I wasn't a big fan of this one. I had problems with the plot, problems with the characters, just lots of #problemsss. My full review will be up closer to its publication date (which is April 26th)

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

Lady Midnight was so amazing and 5/5 stars for me, but I don't think I will be reviewing it since I'm a big "fangirl" for all things in the Shadowhunter world and I can't properly discuss it lol. It would end up being, like, pages of me GUSHING about the amazing characters and intense world that Cassandra Clare continues to build!

My Kind of Crazy by Robin Reul

So I DNF'd this and gave it 1-star. It was...weird and boring to say the least. Sadly, there were too many cliche tropes and annoying characters for me to stick with it. I don't know if I will be writing a full review on this because I did not enjoy it, and I don't think I have much to say about it either. It was just not my cup of tea at all.

  • Went to SOUL CYCLE for the first time! It was soo much fun and such a good workout!
  • Had a Mcflurry for the first time, WHICH WAS SO FREAKING DELICIOUS.
  • Had one of my best friends Sweet 16s
  • Made tons and tons of people give me french braids while I attempted to teach myself. (I still can't do them so any tips would be great!!)
  • Competed in my first science fair for my science research project! It was such a fun experience and I loove scires! I'm hoping I placed *crosses fingers really tightly* but we don't find out until like, May apparently...
  • DIDN'T compete in the first dance competition of the season because of an ankle injury...so THAT SUCKED. LOL.

  • DAREDEVIL SEASON 2! (In all caps because I was very excited about it.) Daredevil is probably my favorite thing in the MCU, and I love how dark and gritty it is. Season 2 introduced so many amazing new characters and complex intertwined new plots. I watched the entire thing in two days. I totally recommend this TV show to everyone! Its quick to watch and soo worth it.

And injuries suck I hate them (even though I don't make any activity/sport) (I know, it's bad lol). And I still have to read City of Lost Souls but I'm happy you loved it!! Can't wait for my copy of it to come! :D

  2. Haha, your reads this month are so bad, then good, then bad! I hear fantastic things about Simon & Lady Midnight, though I don't think I'd pick up Lady Midnight despite the hype. I read The Art of Not Breathing last month as well and I actually liked it more than you! Good luck with your science fair!
